About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Collaborating with sales teams to understand client requirements and design tailored IoT solutions
2. Developing IoT architectures that meet customer needs and technical specifications
3. Creating detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQs) covering hardware, software, and services
4. Conducting technical presentations and demos to showcase IoT solutions
5. Addressing technical inquiries during the sales process
6. Assessing technical and environmental requirements at customer sites for IoT installations
7. Installing, configuring, and testing IoT devices (sensors, controllers, gateways)
8. Ensuring seamless deployment of complete IoT solutions, including hardware and connectivity integration
9. Verifying functionality and data accuracy of deployed IoT systems
10. Integrating IoT devices with cloud platforms and data analytics systems
11. Monitoring and ensuring the accuracy of collected data
12. Troubleshooting and resolving connectivity or data flow issues in the field
13. Providing post-deployment support, troubleshooting, and system optimization
14. Collaborating with customers to address technical challenges and ensure satisfaction
15. Performing routine maintenance, upgrades, and health checks on IoT systems

Other requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

2. 0-1 years of experience working in IoT engineering, with exposure to pre-sales, deployment, and customer support

3. Strong understanding of IoT technologies, automation & control, network protocols (e.g., MQTT, HTTP, TCP), and platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT)

4. Knowledge of sensor technologies, data acquisition, and wireless communication (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP, serial communication, etc.)

5. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues in the field

6. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

7. Willingness to travel to customer sites for pre-sales, deployment, and support activities

8. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving customer challenges
