About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Support the investment team throughout the investment cycle, including developing industry theses, evaluating deals, conducting due diligence, performing financial modeling and analysis, valuing investments, and conducting industry and company research.
2. Assist in providing analytical and research support to the team on broader Healthcare sector and Private Equity trends, as well as specific issues affecting portfolio companies.
3. Aid in filtering investments based on the fund's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and impact criteria.
4. Assist in implementing the E&S (Environmental and Social) policy within the fund and its portfolio companies.
5. Contribute to the development of training and communication materials.
6. Support ongoing projects such as SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) mapping, ESG/Impact Metrics, and ESG-related research, including reading and writing industry reports.
7. Assist in mapping impact and ESG metrics at selected portfolio companies.
8. Conduct comprehensive research on sustainability practices across sectors, focusing on relevant ESG and impact metrics.
9. Create templates for fund reporting and integrate them with relevant software.
10. Provide support in preparing investor reports for LPs (Limited Partners) and fundraising activities.
11. Generate reports with insights related to the healthcare sector, investor relations, and portfolio monitoring, and provide as-needed support in fund reporting and compliance.

Other requirements
1. Demonstrate a strong inclination towards sustainability/ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)/Impact Investing.
2. Have exposure to private equity, investment banking, consulting, environmental projects, and/or experience in pharma/healthcare, which would be advantageous.
3. Possess excellent proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
4. Exhibit strong analytical and quantitative skills.
5. Understand accounting principles and financial modeling.
6. Demonstrate proficiency in interpersonal skills, teamwork, and timely communication.
