About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Contributing to the development of mobile applications from conception through deployment for the HUMMR CHAT app targeted for both Android and iOS platforms
2. Assisting in drafting project specifications and wireframes
3. Developing and implementing key features using Kotlin and Java for cross-platform development
4. Integrating RESTful APIs to enable communication between the mobile application and backend services
5. Implementing user authentication, data storage, and third-party API integration such as Google Maps and Firebase
6. Working closely with the design team to transform mockups into interactive and responsive user interfaces
7. Applying Material Design guidelines for Android and Human Interface Guidelines for iOS to ensure a consistent user experience across platforms
8. Collaborating with senior developers, designers, and product managers to understand business requirements and user needs
