IT Administration Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities:

1. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks
2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
3. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory or other directory services
4. Monitor and maintain network security, firewalls, and antivirus systems
5. Perform regular system updates, backups, and data recovery procedures
6. Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT-related issues promptly
7. Assist in managing IT assets, including procurement, inventory, and documentation
8. Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards
9. Collaborate with vendors and service providers for IT support and procurement
10. Document IT processes, solutions, and troubleshooting steps for future reference

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Information technology, computer science, or a related field
2. 1 year of experience in IT administration, technical support, or a related role
3. Knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems, networking, and troubleshooting
4. Familiarity with IT security, firewalls, and antivirus software
5. Experience with cloud services (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) is a plus
6. Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, routers, and databases
7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
8. Excellent communication and customer service skills
9. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively
