About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Ensure adherence to the preventive maintenance schedule as per the daily/weekly/monthly schedule
2. Build maintenance plan and schedule for equipment & accessories including civil, mechanical electrical, plumbing work, furniture & fixtures
3. Ensure Yearly calibration of all required instruments e.g. pressure gauges, and weighing scales with the necessary documentation

Akshaya Chaitanya is a not-for-profit social enterprise by HKM charitable foundation to eradicate hunger from Mumbai. We have partnered with the Medical Education and Drug Department (MEDD) of the Government of Maharashtra and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to provide relief to the families of patients by serving them meals at lunch. Additionally, we are running a feeding program for children in slums and municipal schools. We aim to ensure that we make one lac individuals food-secure by 2025 to help them explore opportunities beyond solving hunger.
