Junior Accountant Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Manage financial records, reconcile accounts, and act as a liaison between departments to meet accounting obligations.
2. Perform bookkeeping tasks, such as managing accounts payable and receivable and ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded and documented.
3. Receive, verify, validate, process, and reconcile invoices.
4. Enter invoice data in Odoo software.
5. Generate and complete accounts payable documents based on payment modes, such as Quick/Manual Payment and Batch Payment processes.
6. Process vendor payments, prepaid expenses, employee reimbursements, journal vouchers, and bank reconciliations.
7. Follow up on raised purchase orders and goods receipt notes (GRNs) and monitor invoices on hold.
8. Liaise with user departments to obtain sufficient data for responding to supplier and stakeholder queries.
9. Perform duties in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP) and other procedural documents to ensure timely execution of tasks.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in commerce/accounting or a related field.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications.
3. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
4. Professional fluency in English (written/spoken).
