About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities to include:

1. Working on grievance redressal and addressing grievances about child rights {especially Right to Free & Compulsory Education Act, 2009 (RTE)}
2. Finding solutions ranging from directing appropriate authority to take action to conduct inspections or researches
3. Drafting legal notices and orders through relevant background research
4. Conducting on field inspections and draft related inspection reports and orders
5. Researching issues related to RTE and other aspects of education (such as early childhood care and education) and suggesting policy changes

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 11th Oct'19 and 16th Nov'19

3. are available for duration of 1 month

4. have relevant skills and interests

* Women wanting to start/restart their career can also apply.

Added requirements

1. Low rigour but yet extremely vital tasks such as updating file trackers, finding files etc.

2. Students from any discipline can apply but with excellent writing skills

3. Self Starter and work with minimum supervision

4. Willing to take long hours of work including Saturdays

5. The mindset of willing to learn
