About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
Conduct in-depth legal research including case law, statutes, regulations and industry standards on various law matters related to Intellectual Property Rights, Contracts, Data Privacy, Labour, Income Tax and other general and commercial laws of the country.
* Assist in drafting legal notices, responses for matters related to IPR infringement, tax recovery, contract violation and other related matters and responding/making calls with parties and their advocates to resolve cases.
Assist in reviewing and drafting a variety of contracts including commercial agreements, software agreements, employment contracts, licensing agreements, lease agreements and merger & acquisition documents while ensuring that contracts comply with applicable laws and regulations and protect the client's interests.
Assist in litigation and keep track of matters pending at courts and other judicial / government authorities.
Assist in legal due diligence for website, licenses, taxation & business needs to identify and assess legal risks and liabilities associated with potential transactions.
Organizing and maintaining legal documents, contracts, and records in an efficient and secure manner.
