1. Conduct legal research: Assist in researching and analysing intellectual property laws, regulations, and case precedents to support ongoing cases or projects
2. Assist in client communication: Collaborate with attorneys to gather information from clients and assist in drafting client correspondence related to intellectual property matters
3. Support litigation activities: Aid in litigation-related tasks, including drafting pleadings, conducting document review, and preparing evidence
4. Assist with IP portfolio management: Help manage intellectual property portfolios, including maintaining records, updating databases
5. Attend meetings and hearings: Accompany attorneys to client meetings, virtual meetings, court hearings, and intellectual property office proceedings to observe and learn about the practical aspects of intellectual property law
6. Stay updated on IP developments: Keep abreast of recent developments, trends, and changes in intellectual property laws and regulations to provide valuable insights and recommendations across the world
7. Support administrative tasks: Provide general administrative support, such as organising documents, scheduling meetings, and maintaining filing systems related to intellectual property cases
