About the internship
Through appropriate training the Apprentice will gain the knowledge and experience enabling them to contribute to the following key tasks, working as directed by the senior members of the team.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Provide a general and confidential support service to the legal team and assist with general legal inquiries.
2. Develop an understanding of the corporate policies and processes and associated drafting and reviewing skills.
3. Draft simple legal documents and standard templates with legal officer guidance.
4. Assist with collation and provision of information and statistical data as required.
5. Assist with the preparation, printing, and execution of official documents records, and associated file keeping.
6. Assist with collation and provision of information and statistical data as required.
7. Shadow the legal & compliance team and assist with day-to-day operational tasks such as legal research, training material development, and preparation of advisory notes, presentations, trackers, reports, summaries, etc.
8. Support the legal team with any preparations for Board and Committee meetings, AGM, etc.
