About the internship
CarePal Group, a dynamic and rapidly growing company in the healthcare sector, is urgently hiring a legal intern. Committed to providing innovative solutions that enhance patient care and medical services, we seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our legal team. The selected candidate will contribute to compliance, contract management, and corporate governance initiatives, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced and impactful environment.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal documents
2. Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices
3. Support the legal team in compliance-related matters and regulatory filings
4. Assist in handling corporate governance, intellectual property, and data protection matters
5. Liaise with internal teams and external legal advisors on legal issues
6. Maintain and update legal documentation, case files, and compliance records
7. Assist in dispute resolution and litigation management as required (20% Litigation)
8. Handle non-litigation matters such as contract management, regulatory compliance, and legal advisory (80% Non-Litigation)
9. Keep track of legislative updates and their impact on the organization

1. Pursue the last semester of LLB/LLM from a recognized university
2. Demonstrate a strong understanding of corporate and contract law

5. Show the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
6. Be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
7. Preferably have prior internship experience in a corporate legal team or law firm
8. Hold or pursue a qualification in LLB or LLM (last semester)
