The Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skill Council (AASSC) is the apex body for skill development in the emerging aerospace and aviation sectors. The promoters of the company are Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), the Bangalore Chamber of Industries & Commerce (BCIC), and the Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies & Industries (SIATI). The Governing Council of AASSC has representation from the top management of promoter organizations, leading airline companies, research organizations, vocational training providers, NSDC, small & medium enterprises (SMEs), government agencies like the Airport Authority of India, and the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
