About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Compliance Assistance:
a. Support the team in conducting compliance audits and preparing related documentation
b. Research and analyze regulatory changes and their impact on the company

2. Drafting and Documentation:
a. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and revising various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies
b. Assist in the preparation of internal memos, reports, and correspondence
c. Help maintain and organize legal files and documentation

3. Commercial Law:
a. Provide support in matters related to commercial contracts, transactions, and negotiations.
b. Assist in legal research for commercial agreements and business transactions

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 22nd Aug'24 and 26th Sep'24

3. are available for duration of 6 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Law School or equivalent legal education.

2. Candidates who are currently in the 4th and 5th years of their 5-year law degree or in the last year of their 3-year law degree will be preferred.

3. Strong understanding of commercial laws, compliance, and corporate governance.

4. Excellent research, analytical, and drafting skills.

5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

6. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently as well as part of a team.

7. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
