About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Provide legal support in personal and company-related matters, including contract review, compliance, and dispute resolution.
2. Draft and manage wills, powers of attorney, and gift deeds, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
3. Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and notices.
4. Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents in accordance with local laws.
5. Liaise with external legal counsel and government agencies as needed.
6. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends that may impact the company and individual clients.
7. Maintain accurate records of legal documents and correspondence.
8. Advise management and clients on legal risks and implications of decisions.

Other requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
2. A Master’s degree in Law (LLM) is a plus.
3. Relevant certifications or courses in estate planning, corporate law, or legal compliance are advantageous.
4. Previous experience in a legal role, especially in drafting wills and powers of attorney, is preferred.
