About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in collecting geospatial data through field surveys, remote sensing, and other data acquisition methods.
2. Process, clean, and organize spatial data using GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools.
3. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of geodatabases, including data entry, editing, and validation.
4. Support spatial analysis activities including spatial modeling, raster analysis, and geostatistics.
5. Assist in creating maps, charts, and other visualizations to communicate spatial information effectively.
6. Collaborate with project teams to understand spatial requirements and provide geospatial support as needed.
7. Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the field of geospatial science and technology.
8. Document workflows, methodologies, and findings to support knowledge sharing and project documentation.

Other requirements
1. Currently pursuing a degree in remote sensing, GIS, environmental science, agriculture, or related fields.
2. Familiarity with GIS concepts, spatial analysis techniques, and geospatial data formats.
3. Proficiency in GIS software and tools, such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or GRASS GIS.
