About the internship

Seeking a Magento Intern with strong PHP skills to join our development team. Gain hands-on experience in Magento projects and eCommerce platform customization, collaborating with developers and contributing to ongoing work.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist with the development, customization, and maintenance of Magento eCommerce websites
2. Write clean, efficient code using PHP and Magento frameworks
3. Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams for integration
4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly
5. Support Magento 1 to Magento 2 migrations
6. Help develop custom Magento modules
7. Stay updated on Magento's best practices and trends

Other requirements

1. Strong understanding of PHP and Object-Oriented Programming

2. Experience with Magento development (1 and/or 2)

3. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

4. Familiarity with MySQL and Git

5. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

6. Enthusiasm for learning new technologies

7. Magento theming and layout customization

8. Knowledge of Magento’s EAV database model

9. Familiarity with API integrations and eCommerce platforms

10. Basic understanding of SEO in Magento

Additional information

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 5000 per performance based ratings by rm).
