About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Collaborate with developers to understand project requirements and functionality
2. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
3. Perform manual and automated testing of our web applications
4. Identify, document, and report bugs and other issues
5. Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing
6. Test APIs and ensure backend functionality works as expected
7. Verify that the application meets technical specifications and business requirements
8. Provide feedback to developers for improving product quality

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 5th Dec'24 and 9th Jan'25

3. are available for duration of 6 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science, IT, or a related field

2. Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies (manual and automated)

3. Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)

4. Understanding of web application architecture and RESTful APIs

5. Knowledge of basic testing tools like Postman (for API testing)

6. Familiarity with any test automation tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)

7. Exposure to technologies in our stack: Next.js, Node.js, AWS, and PostgreSQL (preferred but not mandatory)

8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

10. Hands-on experience with testing frameworks or scripting

11. Interest in learning automation testing and performance testing tools
