About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on process mapping and gap analysis
2. Compare similar operations and be able to drive insights
3. Assist in the development and implementation of margin improvement strategies
4. Conduct data analysis to track performance metrics and measure the success of implemented strategies
5. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement
6. Work closely with finance and operations to understand the gap in budget and actuals
7. Run program management to track the action items to deliver profitability
8. Focus on individually driving the program with operations and finance

Note: This position will work from a corporate office. However, the candidate should be travelling to sites for better understanding.

Other requirements

1. Possess operational understanding.

2. Strong data analysis skills.

3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

4. Intermediate to advanced PowerPoint presentation.

5. Basics in R Studio and Python for data interpretation.

6. Commerce graduates or any other related MBA (finance or operational management) or other postgraduates would be an added advantage.

7. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL).

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

9. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

10. A basic understanding of supply chain and logistics concepts is a plus.

11. Ability to analyze the data and create documents for management review.
