About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Research and identify potential clients through digital channels, referrals, and offline networks.
2. Create and maintain a database of prospective customers with relevant contact details.
3. Use social media platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram for outreach campaigns.
4. Assist in organizing Investor awareness programs (IAPs) and financial literacy workshops.
5. Collaborate with the marketing team to create and distribute promotional materials, such as brochures, flyers, and online content.
6. Monitor and analyze digital marketing campaigns to enhance lead generation effectiveness.
7. Contact potential clients via calls, emails, and meetings to introduce mutual fund services.
8. Explain investment products, benefits, and suitability based on client profiles.
9. Assist in completing KYC formalities and account opening processes for interested clients.
10. Maintain regular follow-ups with leads to address queries and provide information.
11. Build strong client relationships to ensure conversions and repeat business.
12. Gather client feedback to improve sales pitches and customer service processes.
13. Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly records of leads generated, calls made, and conversions achieved.
14. Provide insights on campaign performance and suggest improvements.
15. Present reports to the sales manager for review.

Other requirements

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s/master’s degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or a related field.

2. Familiarity with financial services, mutual funds, or investment products (preferred but not mandatory).

3. Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

4. Basic knowledge of CRM tools and digital marketing platforms is a plus.

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Persuasive and negotiation abilities.

7. Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.

8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

9. Number of new leads generated weekly/monthly.

10. Lead-to-client conversion rate.

11. Attendance and participation in marketing events.

12. Feedback score from prospective clients.

13. Hands-on experience in financial services marketing and sales.

14. Opportunity to learn about mutual funds and personal finance.

15. Certificate of Internship upon successful completion.
