About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Become part of the growth team which comes under the development and communications vertical
2. Assist in key research critical to expanding iTeach schools in different areas of Pune and other regions
3. Approach will be through online market research, simplifying data, and field visits
4. Work on Excel sheets and simplify the data: coordinate with internal stakeholders in order to collect the information and execute the work
5. Identify relevant NGOs which work for education and infrastructure and make a list so that the information can be simplified and utilized
6. Visit the potential schools in Pune city and collect the required information
7. Use LinkedIn and similar sources to design MSGs and posts
8. Design small campaigns, use them actively and reach out to people with the same interest

Requirements:

1. Basic MS Excel skills
2. Verbal and writing communication skills
3. Flexible to travel
4. Must have a bike
5. Working hours 25 hours/week
6. Work timings include 10 AM to 2 PM

iTeach Schools runs free and high-impact secondary schools and a college-to-career program for the most disadvantaged students of Pune and PCMC. Like many Indian cities, both of these public education systems only go up to Grade VII, leading to the poorest students being unable to finish their schooling. In 2023, with a staff of 250 members across nine schools, we will serve 2800 students and 2000+ alumni, giving students a fighting chance at college, career, and citizenship. We aim to grow to 30 schools and 10,000 students over the next five years.
