Mechanical Engineering Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Closely work with the founding team on electric vehicle mechanical subsystems like battery pack casing, battery-pack cooling, and thermals, vehicle chassis, suspension, transmission and body panels
2. Work closely with the electrical systems team for design, development, and testing of electrical systems from the perspective of thermals, vibration, IP, etc.
3. Work on 3D CAD design for the electrical/electronic components and packaging the same in the most efficient manner
4. Implement concepts from mechanics, static and dynamic analysis in the preliminary design phase
5. Use CAD and CAE techniques like FEA and CFD to achieve any given objective
6. Actively assist in the design and implementation of product test benches
7. Handle the quality, deliverables, cost management of the assigned tasks
8. Travel to deal with vendors and suppliers of different requirements
9. Take care of mechanical integration of various electric sub-systems in the vehicle
