Mechanical Product Design Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Establish the design brief, including the concept, performance and production criteria
2. Identify materials, manufacturing processes, assembly sequence, etc
3. Develop detailed drawings and specifications through CAD tools
4. Finalize manufacturing processes, develop vendor and maintain supply chain
5. Manufacture and evaluate the functional refrigeration prototypes

Experience and Education Requirements:

1. B.Tech/BE in Mechanical Engineering
2. Analytical and problem solving skills, solution-oriented thinking
3. Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to take responsibility
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Strong fundamentals in Mechanical Engineering
6. Good knowledge and working experience in sheet metal component design
7. Hands on experience in design of components, assemblies and detailing using 3D CAD tools.
8. Good understanding on manufacturing, assembly and tooling processes
9. Refrigeration domain work experience is beneficial
10. Knowledge on DRBFM & FMEA is added advantage
