About the internship
Are you passionate about media and communications? Do you have a knack for identifying compelling stories and influential personalities? Join us as a Guest Coordinator for our podcast and talk show, "Honestly Talking," and help us bring fascinating guests to our audience.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Identify, research, and reach out to potential guests for our podcast and talk show.
2. Coordinate and schedule interviews with guests.
3. Maintain relationships with publicists, agents, and other industry contacts.
4. Ensure guests have a seamless and positive experience before, during, and after their interviews.
5. Collaborate with the podcast team to align guest selections with the show's themes and audience interests.
6. Prepare briefing materials for hosts and production staff about upcoming guests.
7. Manage guest logistics, including travel arrangements if necessary.
8. Develop and maintain a database of potential and confirmed guests.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in media, communications, or a related field.
2. Excellent research and networking skills.
3. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Familiarity with podcast production and guest coordination is a plus.
7. Flexibility to work with guests across different time zones.

Other requirements
1. Experience in guest relations or public relations: Any experience in guest relations, public relations, or a related field is highly preferred.
2. Passion for the podcast’s topics: A genuine interest and passion for podcasts to better understand and attract suitable guests.
3. Research skills: Ability to research and identify potential guests who align with the podcast’s themes and audience interests.
4. Excellent communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively reach out to and communicate with potential guests.
