Media & Public Relations (PR) Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Owning client relationships and working to contribute strategic value beyond day-to-day operations
2. Sharing responsibility for 100% client retention by maintaining mid to senior-level relationships allowing us to: proactively identify client risks or opportunities and manage client teams to effectively respond to these client needs
3. Writing the first draft of press releases, questions for Q&As, pitch notes, and media invites
4. Writing the first draft of blogs and by lines & demonstrating writing ability
5. Writing contact reports/meeting minutes, & client emails regarding account management/admin (excluding invoices) within RF standard
6. Structure a briefing document
7. Recognizing key media influencers
8. Pitching interviews to media and secure attendance
9. Maintaining all client-related reports - WIP reports, daily reports, monthly report
10. Owning and updating the media database of your clients

2. Build good journalist/influencer relationships
3. Participate in brainstorming
4. Be a part of new business pitches
5. Ability to think of integrated campaigns

Education: Preferably PR, communications and media students
