About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work with Objective-C, Swift, and Cocoa Touch
2. Work on iOS frameworks, such as Core Data, SQLite, Core Animation, AVFoundation, MapKit, etc.
3. Work on design patterns - MVC/MVVM
4. Work on offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
5. Work on RESTful/Soap APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
6. Work on UI/UX (auto layout and size classes)
7. Work on understanding Apple's design principles and interface guidelines
8. Work on performance and memory tuning with tools, such as Instruments
9. Work on cloud message APIs and push notifications
10. Work on Cocoapods and the hybrid platform (React Native)
11. Work on the defect tracking tool called JIRA and writing unit tests using XCTest
