Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work with outside data sources and API's
2. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
3. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
4. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Added requirements

1. Experience with offline storage, SQLite, multi-threading, services, content providers, geolocation and performance tuning

2. Experience in at least one code versioning system like SVN, GIT, etc.

3. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications

4. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks

5. Having sound knowledge and exposure to mobile application development.

6. Good at developing apps for iPhone / Android with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

7. Good at developing native apps for iPhone / Android

8. Can implement pixel perfect graphical design with performance in mind

9. Open for constructive criticism and a team player

10. Comfortable working in a high energy start-up culture
