About the internship

This internship is to train potential candidates in cytogenetics and molecular testing and then recruit suitable candidates if found fit.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist in laboratory experiments either in cytogenetics (cell cultures) or molecular testing (DNA extraction, PCR)
2. Assist senior scientists in documentation, research, quality management, data analysis, etc.

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 16th Oct'24 and 20th Nov'24

3. are available for duration of 6 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. MSc in human genetics, life sciences, biotechnology, microbiology or any other related biology fields

2. Prior exposure to cell culture or diagnostics will be a plus

Additional information

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 3000 per feedback of supervisor).
