Music Teacher Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Curriculum assistance: Collaborating in designing innovative lessons blending western contemporary and Indian music, with a focus on vocal techniques
2. Teaching & support: Providing lessons and support to students in vocal and instrumental instruction, utilizing knowledge in singing as a foundation
3. Performance preparation: Helping organize student performances, with an emphasis on vocal showcases
4. Constructive feedback: Offering targeted feedback to improve students' singing and, if applicable, instrumental skills
5. Classroom management: Maintaining an organized learning environment, ensuring resources for both vocal and instrumental sessions are readily available
6. Event coordination: Assisting in the execution of music events, spotlighting singing performances
7. Educational materials: Developing and distributing materials focusing on vocal education; instrument-related content is a bonus.
8. Student evaluation: Aiding in assessing students' progress in singing and instrumental mastery
9. Professional development: Engaging in development opportunities, especially those enhancing vocal teaching methods
10. Special projects: Contributing to projects that promote vocal skills and, optionally, instrumental education

Knowledge in singing is mandatory for this role, with instrumental expertise considered an advantageous addition.
This internship provides a hands-on approach to music education, with a strong emphasis on vocal performance and teaching.
