About the internship
We're seeking problem-solving and challenge-seeking interns with an interest in networking. Interns will receive comprehensive hands-on training for 10-12 weeks in the data center and will be prepared for the CCNA exam.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Learn and work under the guidance of our team lead
2. Gradually build proficiency in networking theory and practice through labs and hands-on learning
3. Maintain network diagnostics and implement corrective actions
Key Learning Areas:
Core CCNA Topics:
1. Network Basics (OSI model, TCP/IP, devices, media)
2. Routing (Routing protocols, router operations, routing tables)
3. Switching (Switching fundamentals, VLANs, ACLs)
4. IP Addressing (v4 & v6 addressing, subnetting concepts)
5. Network Connections (Firewalls, VPNs, secure network connections)
6. Wireless (Wi-Fi basics, security protocols, access points)
7. Security (Threats, network security practices, passwords)
Optional Advanced Topics:
1. Infiniband vs. Ethernet protocols (For High-Performance Computing)
2. WAN Routing Protocols (like BGP)
3. Network Management Tools (nmap, Zenmap, Wireshark, Zabbix)

3. Preference given to MS graduates in Computer Science or Data Science
