About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Visiting locally based recycling centers, companies, schools, and community organizations
2. Working with the media and the general public
3. Promoting recycling via publications, talks, and workshops
4. Managing community recycling initiatives
5. Monitoring facilities
6. Keeping statistical records
7. Preparing reports, plans, publicity materials, and displays
