About the internship
Heart Health India Foundation (HHIF) is seeking a dedicated and organized Operations Intern to support our public awareness campaigns and patient support initiatives. The intern will assist in planning, coordinating, and executing activities at public venues, hospitals, and events to promote heart health awareness and provide patient support services. This role provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable hands-on experience in operations and event coordination.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in organizing and executing public awareness campaigns and events at public venues, hospitals, and other locations.
2. Coordinate logistics for on-ground activities, including setting up event booths, arranging materials, and managing schedules.
3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and stakeholders to organize patient support group meetings in hospitals.
4. Engage with participants and attendees during events to promote heart health awareness and answer basic queries.
5. Support the preparation and distribution of educational materials for patients and the public.
6. Maintain records of event participation, feedback, and other operational data for reporting purposes.
7. Ensure smooth communication and coordination with volunteers, vendors, and stakeholders during events.
8. Contribute to brainstorming and planning sessions for upcoming campaigns and initiatives.

Other requirements
Education: Pursuing/recently completed a degree in Public Health, Social Work, Event Management, or a related field.
Skills:
1. Strong organizational and coordination skills.
2. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
3. Basic proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace for documentation and communication.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with diverse audiences.
5. Soft Skills: Proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about community service.
6. Experience: Prior experience in event management, public outreach, or healthcare-related initiatives is a plus.
