Operations Internship

Selected interns day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Engage new collection partners to post conducting capability assessments
2. Start assessment of social impact measurement in selected collection locations in terms of plastic litter reduction, on the participants in the plastic waste value chain
3. Evaluate alternate/future collection and disposal models
4. Check out global trends in single-use plastics
5. Work on the above activities and for actual on-ground delivery besides preparing a report
6. Involve desk-top study/documentation work and literature survey, internet-based searches, vendor interactions, participation in technical seminars and travel to collection sites across the country (2-3 times in a month)
7. Travel to plastic waste collection, segregation, and processing centers located in remote areas or city outskirts
