About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Planning & scheduling the monthly movie grids for the channels in the Hindi movie cluster
2. Ensuring that the FPCs are compliant with all internal policies & regulars of STAR
3. Making sure all FPCs are released within timelines with no margin of error
4. Keeping track of license periods, syndicated tittles & utilized runs to maximize the potential of the available library
5. Coordinating with internal stakeholders
6. Ensuring all materials for on-air telecasts are in the system and are clear for telecast
7. Ensuring all movies/promotions scheduled are legally cleared & new acquisitions are known and planned
8. Coordinating with the commercial team and providing valid & cleared windows for movies for outside network channels without clashes with internal schedules
9. Coordinating with channel stakeholders within the network & providing cleared windows for movies for without clashes with internal schedules
10. Coordinating with the T&P teams to ensure all programing plans are executed as per guidelines set within the team
11. Planning on-air promotions, evaluating key tent-poles & assigning priority to titles to draw maximum viewers to the channel
12. Coordinating with the marketing & research teams to ascertain a sound promotion plan
13. Providing a comprehensive execution plan for on air promotions
