Optometry Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Perform thorough routine comprehensive eye examinations
2. Diagnose refractive errors and color blindness
3. Prescribe corrective lenses
4. Provide counseling to the customers regarding the selection of appropriate frames and lenses
5. Record all diagnoses and prescriptions
6. Pitch the sale of frames and lenses to prospective customers

Requirements:

1. Diploma in optometry with a minimum 1 years experience or bachelors in optometry
2. Ability to build rapport and trusting relationships
3. Ability to understand the unstated needs of the customer and offer solutions
4. Have clear articulation and active listening skills
5. Proactive task ownership, result orientation, and customer-orientation
6. Ability to multitask and organize activities based on priority
7. Have knowledge of the latest trends of frames in the market
8. Have information about pricing and offers at the store to pitch to customers

Required Languages:

English, Hindi, and any other regional language will be an added advantage
