We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as an Organic Synthesis Intern. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in organic synthesis techniques and methodologies.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conduct organic synthesis experiments under the guidance of senior researchers
2. Prepare and purify target compounds using various laboratory techniques, such as column chromatography, recrystallization, and distillation
3. Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, observations, and results
4. Assist in the optimization of synthetic routes and the development of new methodologies
5. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot experimental challenges and develop innovative solutions
6. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace
7. Stay informed about current literature and advancements in organic synthesis to contribute to ongoing research discussions
