About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Working on costing and packaging development.
2. Working closely with Packaging Leads/Managers in their day-to-day operations, particularly in closure workflows related to packaging tasks.
3. Receiving samples, tracking, labeling for mock preparation, and analyzing samples.
4. Creating handmade mocks and prototypes with vendor assistance.
5. Designing and executing according to testing procedures.
6. Recording all data results accurately in the specified format with responsibility.
7. Ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines and maintaining a clean, orderly environment.
8. Working on specification maintenance, test report preparation, and timely discussion/reporting.
9. Supporting the Packaging Core Team in evaluating and testing all kinds of packaging materials required for NPD projects.
10. Working closely with the quality team to evaluate and test all kinds of packaging materials.
11. Working on packaging trials, packaging complaint handling, etc.
12. Conducting test of packaging materials under defined conditions as per customer requirements/based on standards (ASTM, BIS etc.)

Other requirements
1. Must be a Packaging Graduate.
2. Good knowledge in Mathematics and basic packaging science.
3. Basic knowledge of computers and related software, including Excel.
4. Basic knowledge of packaging materials, including flexible, rigid, paper, etc.
5. Working knowledge of KLDs for various types of packaging with a keen interest in learning more.
6. Ability to work as/in a team and open to learning.
7. Ability to maintain a healthy work-related relationship with cross-functional teams and vendors.
