As an Anchor Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in news presentation, content creation, and live broadcasting. This internship will help you develop confidence, communication skills, and industry knowledge while working alongside experienced professionals.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities:
1. Assisting in researching news stories and gathering relevant information.
2. Supporting scriptwriting, cue card preparation, and teleprompter operations.
3. Coordinating with producers, reporters, and technical teams for seamless broadcasts.
4. Participating in pre-show rehearsals and live anchoring under supervision.
5. Conducting interviews with guests and experts, ensuring engaging discussions.
6. Reviewing and fact-checking content for accuracy and credibility.
7. Managing newsroom logistics and assisting in field reporting when required.
8. Collaborating with social media teams to create engaging promotional content.
9. Observing and learning on-camera presence, voice modulation, and body language.
10. Staying updated with current affairs, industry trends, and broadcasting techniques.
