About part time job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Proactively identify and engage potential distributors who are well-suited to buy and distribute brands from our portfolio across the UAE.
2. Conduct daily visits to local shops and distributors to evaluate their business potential and build strong, lasting relationships.
3. Gain a deep understanding of each distributor's specific needs and recommend brands from our portfolio that best align with their market demands.
4. Provide regular updates to the manager on progress with distributor acquisition, including insights into challenges and emerging market trends.
5. Achieve weekly targets by successfully onboarding new distributors, and securing at least one new partnership per week for the brands we represent.

Other requirements

1. Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field

2. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, confident in engaging with distributors and retail partners in person and by phone

3. Interpersonal Skills: Friendly and outgoing, able to build rapport quickly, essential for relationship-building with local shops and distributors

4. Sales Mindset: Interest in sales and business development, with a proactive approach to identifying and engaging distribution partners

5. Market Research Skills: Ability to assess distributor needs, analyze market trends, and suggest suitable products from our portfolio

6. Time Management: Organized, able to manage daily visits and follow-ups efficiently, aiming to meet weekly acquisition goals

7. Problem-Solving: Quick thinker, able to tailor recommendations to meet unique distributor requirements

8. Reporting Skills: Basic skill in compiling reports on acquisition progress, market insights, and challenges to keep the manager informed

9. Local Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the UAE retail/distribution landscape is a plus; Arabic proficiency is preferred but not required

10. Transportation: Willingness to travel across the UAE for distributor visits (driving license is beneficial but not mandatory, depending on transportation support)
