About part time job/internship

We are seeking enthusiastic and driven weekend sales representatives to manage our stalls at various exhibitions and flea markets. This role involves representing The Friendly Farmer, engaging with customers, and driving sales of our gardening products. The ideal candidate will be passionate about gardening, enjoy interacting with people, and have a knack for sales.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Setting up and managing our stalls at various exhibitions and flea markets, ensuring products are displayed attractively and effectively.
2. Greeting and assisting customers, providing information about our products, answering questions, and offering recommendations based on their needs.
3. Promoting and selling our products, aiming to meet or exceed sales targets.
4. Monitoring stock levels, managing inventory at the stall, and reporting any stock shortages or product issues to the management.
5. Processing transactions accurately and managing cash or electronic payment systems as required.
6. Gathering customer feedback to help improve our products and services.

Compensation:

1. Base Salary: Paid on a weekend-to-weekend basis.
2. Variable Salary: Performance-based incentives will be provided based on sales achievements.

Other requirements

1. Experience: Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred but not required.

2. Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse customer base.

3. Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to drive sales and meet targets.

4. Flexibility: Ability to work weekends and travel to different locations as required.

5. Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Additional information

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 50 per lead).
