North South Foundation (NSF) is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization that has been operating since 1989 in the USA and in India since 2004, with its headquarters in Hyderabad, Telangana. It helps students in the USA succeed in competitions such as the Scripps National Spelling Bee, science contests, and other academic challenges.
In India, NSF is implementing the NSF Creative Learning & Leadership (NCL) education initiative across approximately 1,250 schools, supporting around 2,20,000 students. NCL is an assessment-driven student learning improvement program that supports students' learning journeys free of cost, particularly for those studying in government schools. For students in private schools, a nominal fee is charged.
The NCL technology platform provides analytical dashboards and reports for tracking student, subject, and school performance. The NCL assessment initiative is currently being successfully implemented across the country.
