About part time job/internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in creating garden layouts, selecting plants, and choosing appropriate materials (e.g., stones, mulch, fencing) under the guidance of a senior designer.
2. Create or assist in drafting design plans using design software or traditional methods.
3. Support the upkeep of garden structures, pathways, and irrigation systems to ensure they remain in good condition.
4. Learn about plant varieties, their care requirements, and their suitability for different climates, soils, and garden styles.
5. Maintain cleanliness in garden areas by removing weeds, dead plant material, and debris.
6. Help with watering, pruning, and fertilizing plants, as well as ensuring their overall health by managing pests and diseases.
7. Contribute suggestions for improving garden aesthetics or maintenance techniques based on observations.
8. Ensure safe handling of pesticides or fertilizers and promote environmentally responsible practices in managing garden pests and diseases.

Other requirements
1. Understand plant biology, growth cycles, and care requirements to ensure that the plants selected will grow well and remain healthy.
2. Maintain other aspects of the garden, such as irrigation systems, lawn care (mowing, aerating), edging, and keeping pathways clear.
3. Research plant species, new garden trends, or horticultural techniques online to stay updated and expand knowledge.
4. Apply environmentally friendly gardening practices, such as organic gardening, water conservation (e.g., drip irrigation), using native plants, and reducing waste (composting).

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 200 per design).
