About part time job/internship
Exploring Nature is offering a stepping-stone opportunity for aspiring wildlife journalists with a passion for wildlife and nature. Interns will work closely with our editorial team, gaining valuable skills and industry insights. This is a unique chance to build a professional portfolio while contributing to meaningful environmental journalism.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Managing Exploring Nature community:
i. Content scheduling: Planning and scheduling content publication to maintain a consistent online presence
ii. Community management: Moderating comments and forums, and engaging with the online community
2. Handling expert talk show 'Jungle Chimes':
i. Creating a platform for students and conducting an online symposium
ii Conducting interviews with wildlife experts, conservationists, and researchers
3. Woking on the magazine 'Whispering Wilds':
i. Writing articles, blog posts, and social media content related to wildlife and conservation
4 Working on audience engagement:
i. Interacting with readers and followers through comments, emails, and social media.
ii. Communicating with the contributors, advertisers, and brand partners of our magazine, Whispering Wilds
iii. Growing the subscriber's list and communicating with the readers
5. Providing administrative support:
i. Assisting with various administrative tasks such as organizing files, maintaining databases, and managing subscriptions
6. Social media management:
i. Managing and updating the magazine's social media platforms
7. Organising team meetings:
i. Participating in meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative projects with the editorial and design teams
8. Developing and scheduling posts for the magazine's social media accounts, engaging with the audience and promoting new content

1. Students studying mass communication and having an inclination towards nature & wildlife
