About part time job/internship

We are seeking a talented and passionate volunteer photographer intern to capture authentic and meaningful moments that reflect our mission and the impact of our mentoring programs. This role is perfect for someone who wants to build their portfolio while making a difference in the community.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Attend bi-weekly outing sessions on Saturdays, capturing candid and posed photographs that highlight the essence of our work.
2. Collaborate with our team to understand specific photography needs and event objectives.
3. Edit and deliver high-quality images for use in promotional materials, social media, and our website.
4. Assist in creating visual storytelling that resonates with our audience and supports our fundraising efforts.
5. Maintain organized records of photos and ensure proper storage and backup of digital files.

Other requirements

1. Proven experience in photography with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of styles and subjects, particularly candid or documentary-style photography.

2. Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

3. Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and program participants.

4. A passion for storytelling and a commitment to the mission of the organization.

5. Availability on Saturdays and flexibility to exceed the minimum hours when required.

About Mentoring Urban Students And Teens (MUST) (Seattle, United States)

M.U.S.T's mission is to provide a space for Black males to liberate themselves through mentoring. The M.U.S.T. Mentoring Model is a unique system that creates an environment for liberation and growth. Coaches for Mentors help them navigate life, school, and relationships. Mentors for the Mentees, assist all four years of high school, helping them navigate life, school, and relationships. Mentors get the skills they need to finish their higher education or further their career and Mentees get an emerging adult Black male role model who grew up in a similar environment to themselves.
