Policy Research Part Time Internship

Movement Positive is a non-profit organization (est. 2020) dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where both teachers and students thrive and achieve their full potential. Our mission is to equip PreK-12 teachers and students with social-emotional tools to foster well-being, build strong relationships, engage responsibly, and drive positive change.

As part of the feasibility study, we are going to gauge the wellbeing climate in the classroom. We are looking to hire research interns who will conduct interviews with teachers and school administrators and coordinate on the programs we run for them.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Physically visit nearby low-cost private schools, government schools, and Anganwadi centers near their localities
2. Conduct face-to-face and telephonic interviews of teachers and Anganwadi workers with consent
3. Interviews to be conducted based on survey questions provided by Movement Positive post orientation
4. Keep records of data collected and share with the organization on a weekly basis
5. Attend daily catch up call (on working day) of 1 hour
6. Transcribe data from Kannada to English

1. Duration of internship - 3 months
2. Time required- Part time, 3 days per week
3. Unpaid internship
