Product Design Part Time Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Create and edit detailed designs and layouts for products using RDWorks, ensuring precision in measurements and alignment.
2. Set up designs for laser cutting or engraving by configuring the appropriate parameters, such as speed, power, and material type, in RDWorks.
3. Arrange design elements efficiently on the working area to minimize waste and reduce production costs.
4. Run test cuts and engravings on sample materials to verify that designs work as intended and make adjustments as necessary.
5. Work closely with engineers, production teams, and other designers to ensure that designs meet functional requirements and can be produced effectively.
6. Identify and resolve issues during the design or production process, including software glitches, machine calibration issues, or design flaws.
7. Maintain detailed records of designs, settings, and production processes to ensure consistency and quality control.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in product design and laser cutting technologies by attending workshops or training sessions.
