A project manager is accountable for planning and allocating resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle. All of this takes place within the framework of achieving a company's goals and achieving its vision. Various projects require project managers, such as construction, information technology, human resources, and marketing.
1. Ensure all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget
2. Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project
3. Coordinate with internal and external parties for the flawless execution of projects
4. Manage relationships between clients and stakeholders
5. Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools
6. Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks
7. Report and escalate to upper management as and when needed

1. Project managers must be effective communicators to convey ideas, expectations, and information to their team, stakeholders, and clients
2. They need to be able to lead their team to success by providing clear direction, motivation, and support
3. They must be highly organized to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and resources simultaneously
