About part time job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Conduct comprehensive research on soil databases, maps, sampling methods, recommendation systems, and innovative agriculture techniques by analyzing relevant literature
2. Engage with farmers and agri-stakeholders to gather critical data, including on-the-ground insights into local farming practices and challenges
3. Support the core team by participating in field visits, conducting farmer interviews, and attending review meetings to better understand each group's local goals, management strategies, and current practices
4. Collaborate with the tech and business teams to provide insights and feedback that help improve our product offerings, ensuring they align with the needs of farmers and stakeholders

Other requirements

1. Graduate or pursuing B.Sc./ M.Sc. in Agri, Botany, General Science or a related field

2. Basic understanding of research methodologies and interest in agricultural innovation

Required skills:

1. Excellent oral and written communication skills

2. Strong analytical and research skills, with attention to detail in data collection and reporting

3. Leadership qualities, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team

4. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite

5. Curious and quick learner

6. Proficient in Hindi, Marathi and English

7. Comfortable with fieldwork and ability to adapt to different environments

Good to have:

1. Any previous experience in farming, agriculture, or extension work
