About part time job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Research corporate houses in India that have a strong DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) policy and actively implement it.
2. Research non-profits and social enterprises working in the space of skilling and vocational training for neurodivergent young adults.
3. Research organizations providing employment opportunities or pathways for neurodivergent young adults through livelihood options.
4. Investigate Government of India (GoI) initiatives that support neurodivergent individuals and their families through schemes and other support mechanisms.
5. Document the findings from the above research methodically and create a structured presentation for the program team at Sankalp.

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for the part time job/internship

2. can start the part time job/internship between 7th Nov'24 and 12th Dec'24

3. are available for duration of 2 months

4. are from or open to relocate to Chennai and neighboring cities

5. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Commit to spending 12-15 hours per week for 2 months (from November 20, 2024, to January 20, 2025).

2. Demonstrate relevant skills and a strong interest in research.

3. Work independently with minimal guidance and supervision.

4. Preference will be given to undergraduates in their 2nd or 3rd year or postgraduates.
