Our objective in starting Bagus Home Decor was to help and promote Local Artisans from across the world mostly from third-world countries in Asia and Africa, who are today on the brink of extinction as they are finding it difficult to make ends meet.
The idea behind this initiative was to support them and help them with their livelihood, Each of the products that you can see on the website are hand made by a local artisan in their home, backyard, or village. These artisans live in extreme poverty since they don't have a platform to promote their art and goods. Our effort was to give them a platform and regular means of income while making sure the traditional local art is protected which has been passed on from generation to generation. All Bagus products are made out of natural, eco-friendly, biodegradable, and sustainable raw materials like wood, glass, stone, terracotta, bamboo, Rattan, etc. Recently we have launched on e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart as well.
