About part time job/internship

Key responsibilities:

1. Teach computer basics and web development (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) to kids
2. Undergo regular teaching training and giving weekly updates to the Go Girl Team
3. Travel to the school to teach HTML and CSS to underprivileged kids once or twice a week offline
4. Take photos and videos of the classes as directed

Benefits:

1. Provision of all teaching materials and training
2. Provision of certification of internship completion
3. A basic stipend of Rs. 500 per class will be provided (most tutors do at least 1 class per week)

Go Girl humanitarian foundation is a non-profit organization that hosts free workshops to teach less privileged children basic computer skills and programming. Now 4 years old, the organization has hosted workshops for over 2000 girls. We also empower women by increasing the representation of women in tech and raising awareness on issues through our Instagram, which has over 70k followers.

A glimpse into our students' journeys:

1. Our students in Hyderabad said they haven't worked with computers, and think of them as smaller TVs. Today, they are proficient at using the Microsoft Office Suite, and are currently learning HTML!
2. Our students in Rajasthan said computer programming is too difficult, but now they are excited to study computer science in college!
